Native Nations Cross Cultural Exchange between Tangata Moemoea Rangatahi from Australia to Aotearoa, New Zealand September 2024

Travel Ed in collaboration with Tourism BOP and Kohutapu Lodge joined with other Māori tourism operators to host the inaugural Native Nations programme bringing indigenous youth together to experience eachothers customs, history and cultures.The tāngata moemoea from Australia showed their respect at Pukehinahina (Gate Pā) by performing a traditional aboriginal dance to demonstrate their struggles that connected with what happened at this battle site.
